First I want to address the members selected for the committee. There are 7 Democrats and 2 Republicans and they were all picked by Nancy Pelosi. The Republican Party originally chose Rep. Jim Banks of Indiana and Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio. They have both opposed investigating the attack on congress, they both believe the election was fradulent. They feel the insurrection was done by patriotic Americans expressing their views and have even gone so far as saying they were typical White House tourists. REALLY???? At first I applauded this move by Nancy Pelosi, but after I watched the testimony of four Capital Police officers, I changed my mind. They should have been there to watch the unreleased footage and hear these officers testimony. I want to see them face these officers with all their denials and lies and spin. I want to watch them put in their place. How dare they deny what happened that day.
Did you know that 2 Capital Police officers died by suicide after the January 6 attack? This is mind blowing. How very sad that Republicans are down playing this event. These brave officers were punched, kicked, sprayed with chemicals, fazed with their own weapons, listened to horrible verbal and racial abuse, and beaten with metal poles attached with the American Flag.
What more is there to say. The videos and footage of that day show the truth of what happened, who did it, and who is responsible. As Ozzy says, “I saw it, I saw it with my own two eyes”
