Ozzy’s Dead

I can’t believe it…..July 22, 2025. His tribute concert was less than a month ago, July 2. I am so happy that he was able to perform and see just how many people loved him and how he influenced others to follow in his footsteps.

My first introduction to Ozzy was when he was with Black Sabbath. My ex-husband used to play their albums and at that time I didn’t like them. I was 19 and still obsessed with The Beatles.

It wasn’t until years later, when “No More Tears” was released that I started to appreciate his music. I went to one of his concerts at Madison Square Garden. I went with an old boyfriend. We sat in the second row. Zackk Wilde was on the guitar. It was pretty wild, I loved every minute!!!

From there I was obsessing over the lyrics and listened to every thing he put out, solo and with Black Sabbath. “Paranoid,” I swore described me. “War Pigs,” is still relevant today. “Revelation Mother Earth,” spoke to me. Another one that is still relevant today. Side note: I wanted to walk down the aisle on our wedding day to the instrumental interlude in the middle of “Revelation Mother Earth.”

Lastly I wanted to mention that Ozzy was a huge Beatles fan. When asked what album he would want if he was stranded on an island, his response was, “Imagine.”

Rest in peace Ozzy knowing how loved you are and how you will be missed.Your music will live on for generations ❤️💕🥰😥
