The Midterms

Tomorrow is the midterms. For the past week, that’s all they talk about on TV. It is important because it could give power back to the Republicans. If the party was as it used to be, I wouldn’t have a problem, but the Trump Republican’s, there I said it, are very scary. They are still pushing lies and and the violence towards politicians that aren’t Maga ? are being targeted. Nancy Pelosi’s husband was attacked by an axe yielding maniac and all Trump and his cronies could do was mock the attack and start another conspiracy theory that it might not have been real.

I do feel that this election is to save democracy. There are 300 candidates that are election deniers running, spewing all kinds of fear and lies. I’m afraid if these candidates lose, they will pull a Trump and say they were rigged. Yes gas prices are rising, again. This is not Biden’s fault. It is the major oil companies that are slowing down production and making huge profits and keeping them for themselves. Greed, yet again. I also don’t feel inflation is Biden’s fault. I feel that no matter who is president we would be dealing with this. It comes down to the pandemic, and manufacturing and delivery holdups. The one thing that I can attribute to Biden is the nonstop influx of immigrants. There is also increased violence in the cities, (especially NY). This is more on the local and state level politicians.

Anyhow, the main reason I started this post was to complain about all the analyzing that is going on relentlessly about how close the races are. I’ve been watching a lot of shows I DVR’d and HGTV. I don’t like hearing speculation and the new poll results. I’ll watch when they have facts to show and deal with it then.

In the meantime I’ll keep playing Power Ball, (up to 2 billion or something crazy), with no winner for months and hope for the best. I just want a house with a swimming pool, maybe a compound with homes for each of my children, horses and dogs too. Oh yeah, travel. and give to charity. aah to dream
