It is now Monday morning and I have gone three whole nights with no pain. On Friday the 13, (last post) we went food shopping at Kroger and I bought XS Acetaminophen 500 mg., (generic XS Tylenol), and got talked into buying Anbesol, gum number. This too, I bought generic. Anyhow. I took two of the Acetaminophen and rubbed the other on my gums before I went to bed. Wonders, I did not wake up with the stabs of pain. Next night, same thing. Last night I didn’t use the rub. During the day I’m still getting what I call “little shocks”, which to me is a warning that it can come back anytime. I’m back to eating what I want, (fortunately or unfortunately). I’m still too paranoid to stop taking the Acetaminophen at night. I am grateful that I have relief and can now go outside and work in the yard.
The second part of this is how I’m still wondering what causes these stabbing pains. I don’t believe that it is an MS symptom, even though it does effect the nerves. I floated the thought around that maybe it is because of the Prolia I take for osteopsorosis. One of the side effects are severe jaw problems and the pain does radiate from my jaw. This morning a commercial came on for Prolia, stating that particular side effect and right away I’m thinking, “is this a message to me, that I need to investigate.” Just because the world does work in strange ways. I’ll keep you posted on that front.
My last post, 10/13, I did on my iPad, thats why it looks different, haven’t figured out how to change fonts and add colors. This is good because I can now post more often, I don’t have to go in the office and turn on the laptop.
