Accessibility Issues with Mya Pol

Earlier this week I was introduced to a beautiful young woman named Mya Pol, on the Today Show. It was a small segment but I admired her enough to look up her story and found her so inspiring. I love her messaging and delivery of the same problems I have brought up in previous posts. She is young, vibrant, positive and addresses accessibility issues in ways I could never dream of.

She has not been diagnosed with anything specific, has undergone many tests, with no conclusion. She has embraced life in a wheelchair and shares her journey on TikTok @immarollwithit. Please check it out, you won’t be sorry!

As an aside, I am not on social media at all. I was on Facebook but ceased participation when Trump came along and I saw lifelong friends and even some relatives be delusional in their beliefs. It causes me great stress that I don’t need. I also don’t want to live with my face in my phone all day. Sometimes checking my email or texts a few times a day causes me agita. I don’t want feel beholden to anything, much less a screen.
