I interrupt posting about the trip to NY because last night we went to see Alice Cooper. I have always wanted to see him around Halloween and finally I got to! He did not disappoint, what a great rock’n roll show!! He sounded great and even with his makeup on, he looked old, he is after all 80 years old! God bless these rockers. He was accompanied with four cranking guitarists, one young lady who was so good. They all were phenomenal and a drummer, the best according to Rolling Stone. Lots of ghouls wandering around the stage, straight jackets, guillotine, and his wife, Cheryl was also a part of the show. I had bought seats in the handicapped section as usual. They are great seats, the problem being that when you’re in a wheelchair and people stand you can’t see a thing.
This time I brought the picture I have of him with John Lennon, I wanted to try and get him to sign it. We arrived early. I had previously written to his website explaining about the picture., never heard back and I also had contacted the theater, they couldn’t do anything. When we arrived I wheeled down to the stage to try to talk to someone about my chances of showing him the picture and getting it signed. I was told he didn’t sign anything. They did hook me up with the manager of the theater and I explained and then stated how hard it was to see when people were standing, WELL….. she put us in the front row, on the left side of the stage!!! I had to give up the wheelchair, which I gladly did. She came back and offered me a seat in the pit . 2nd row but I turned it down because if they stood in the front row I wouldn’t be able to see and the chairs weren’t as steady for me to be in. Where we were , they were theater seats attached to the floor with arm wrests to help me get up and down. I did thank her profusely! I was able to get great pictures. (see below).
After the concert we waited outside to try and see him and maybe get a picture with him. The first to come out was the bass player and he took pictures with a few of the people. I showed him my picture and he took it in the bus and said he’ll get Alice to sign it. I said that I was told he didn’t sign anything and he said, “he’ll sign it.” Then security pushed us all away and put up barriers. We waited and the bass player came out and Alice did sign it!!!!

Guess who’s coming to Altria in March of 2027???? CHER That will be my next one unless something else comes up
