The week is finally over. We were at our house in River Bluffs with Pete’s sister Jan, husband, Joey and his mom. They bought some property in another development, River Lights, Its about 45 minutes North of us. We went to look at their property and the model house they are building. I am excited for them. They’re mom is moving down and will live with them.
Overall it was a good week. We swam in the pool at River Lights, which had walk in access for me with railings and a few steps all around the very large pool. There was no handicap lift. We also swam in the pool at River Bluffs, This time the lift was working, yeah! I was in the pool every day. The weather was unbearably hot. Still is, here in VA. We did a lot of shopping, lucky for me Jan loves to shop as much as I do! The difference being is that Joey is the most personable patient guy, never getting mad, encouraging Jan and my mother-in-law to buy what they wanted. He even offered to reconstruct a piece of furniture for my mother-in-law. This is completely opposite of Pete’s behavior. Joey was always ready to help me, sometimes going out of his way to make sure I was alright. He wasn’t trying to make an impression, this is his personality. Always fun and making jokes. It made Pete look very bad in my eyes. It brought to the forefront again, how his moods, lack of social skills, patience and all around personality brings me down.
The week was constantly go go go. I did alright, but I did get cranky not having a minute to myself, and dealing with Pete’s negativity. We ate too much. Jan loves her carbs. She brought Costco sized croissants, chocolate muffins, Girl Scout cookies and two cakes. I brought strawberries, blueberries and cantelope. I did eat in moderation a few croissants and muffins for breakfast and cake too.
Lastly my jaw started hurting, the Trigemenal Neuralgia was starting again. I had broght the medicine, Oxcarbazene 150 mg. I took it at night, daytime seemed alright. Last night I woke up at 1:20 in severe pain, right away I sent my doctor a note to please call in a new Rx. After taking two last night, I only have 3 left. I haven’t heard anything so far today. I’m hoping to get the pills today. I’ll call the office since I’ve heard nothing.
