I was able to clean up the herb garden in between the raindrops over Memorial Day weekend. I cut back the Chives, cut all the dead branches off the Lavender. Out of four plants I only have two left, one is around 8 years old, very leggy, with one blooming branch and the other is only a couple of years old, also very leggy. I pulled up two batches of Greek Oregano, potted them and brought them into the Garden Shop to give away. I cut some long branches off of the Rosemary and rooted one in water in the kitchen window to start a new plant.
