Cleaning Garden Beds

This week the weather shot up to 79 and 85 yesterday. Today woke up at 68 and going down to 47 with rain and snow showers, that’s March. Anyway not feeling back to myself yet I decided I would start with cleaning up one of the smaller beds.

This bed has Hellebore’s, (Lenten Rose), Crape Myrtle, Variegated Liriope, Clematis, and Black eyed Susan’s. I cut back all the old leaves, dead leaves, raked and weeded. I uncovered these beautiful new blooms.

That is as far as I got. I needed to cut back the Liriope but I only had my clippers and I needed the garden scissors. I wasn’t feeling good enough to go back into the garage and get them.
