Tomorrow Pete’s brother and wife are coming to spend the night before heading down to Hilton Head. They have never been here and of course I want the house to look perfect, ok clean and neat. I’ve been doing a little every day. I just finished the vanity in the master bathroom and I can hardly move. Now I’m mad and frustrated that I can’t do more.
I wanted to cook a nice dinner and have been racking my brain to come up with something good that’s easy. Also first thing in the morning I have my 6 month infusion of Ocrevus. Pete said don’t worry we’ll go out but we’re going to eat out all week and I did want to cook. I miss entertaining and I hate that I can’t do it like I used to.
On Friday they’re leaving and Pete’s sister and her husband are coming to spend Friday night and on Saturday morning we’re all heading to Hilton Head for a week.
Anyway there will be six of us, Pete’s siblings and spouses. His sister Jan has a timeshare and was able to get another one so there will be 2 couples to a unit. We’ll each have our own bedroom and bathroom. Jan and Joey are treating us all. It’s extremely generous and appreciated.
It should be fun and also interesting. I had wanted to spend a few days at our house in NC to break up the trip but of course Pete wanted to wait for his sister and head down together. I think it’s too long but it doesn’t matter what I think. When we went to Florida, same thing, no stopping for the night.
