Dieting with MS – June Update

After a setback from last month, when we traveled to NY, I’ve been back following the app, My Fitness Pal, the free version. I’m weighing myself monthly, usually between the 6th and 8th of each month. I honestly wasn’t expecting any loss because I’ve gone over the 1200 calories a day a few times. I’ve also gone under the 1200 calories too. Anyway today I weighed 138.6! I’m very pleased with that number. So in 3 months I’ve lost 5 pounds. I know its a slow process doing it this way, but that’s okay with me. I have to mention that when I weigh myself its in the morning, naked, and with dry hair, before I get into the shower. I feel that wet hair weighs more than dry hair and I’ll do anything to lower that number.
