Garden Beds

I haven’t been writing or working on my issues because every spare minute I’m outside cleaning up the garden. I blew off my friend Stevie so I can get some work done. Today I was able to spend 3 1/2 hours cleaning up three more beds. Total done, 9 beds. Only 10 more to go.

This is so much work. I can’t keep this up. I would love help. I asked Pete if we could work together to get these beds done. He agreed because he got the mulch delivered and is chomping at the bit to get it down. I need more than that. I need whatever new weeds that came up to be pulled. I would also like him to use the edger before he mulches. Asking him, as usual, is useless.

I haven’t felt good the past two days but I pushed myself to go outside. Being outside is therapy for me, although pollen has left a thick coat of green on everything. It should be over now, it looks like the trees have all their leaves.

Now blooming:

Loropetalum, (Fringe Shrub)
Hellebores, ( Lenten Rose)

The Hellebores are still blooming. I had to cut some and bring them in. The flowers are so perfect and beautiful.
