This is obvious, since I haven’t written a post in about 2 weeks. Nothing is happening right now. There is no gardening since the temperature is above 90 daily. We have not gone anywhere and except for volunteering 2 days a week, (which is saving me in more ways than one) I do the usual weekly chores and go out to food shop. I still have no motivation and I’m not doing anything about it, therefore I am repeating the same patterns, I’m stuck. As soon as I’m done with this post I will bury my brain in Mahjong for a couple of hours.
As I write this I realize that I’ve done some things. I read a book, “The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo – A Novel” by Taylor Jenkins Reid and I’m now reading another, “The Great Circle” by Maggie Shipstead. I have also been working on my granddaughters dollhouse. I shingled the roof and polyurethaned it. I will post pictures under “Crafts.”
We have gone to the movies and saw (my) Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning, Part One. I find the man amazing and love to watch his newest feats. We also went to see Oppenheimer. I loved this movie! The story and the acting were amazing. Robert Downey Jr. and Cillian Murphy should both get an academy award for their portrayals as J. Robert Oppenheimer and Lewis Strauss. I strongly recommend this movie. I also saw Barbie with a friend. It was funny and had a good message for young women. It is not for small children. Ryan Gossling was great as Ken.
