We spent the weekend in NC. I was excited because it would be the first time I’ve been there with furniture! After changing my mind about the dining table, we had finally decided on a live edge table from Crate and Barrel. The living room set was from Ashley Furniture.
While we were there for July 4th weekend I had seen a painting I liked in my favorite consignment shops. They are a group of 3 buildings and a fourth location for more upscale; The Ivy Cottages. If you like to shop consignment and you’re in Wilmington, NC , they’re the best. Anyway, the picture was still there, an original painting. It is large, 4’ x 4’ and had all my colors plus as you will see, has a Beatles quote.
We (Peter) also painted the master bedroom ceiling with clouds (at my direction). Lots of arguing but happy with the results.
I got to go in the pool, (my happy place). I was able to stand without holding on and moved my arms doing an overhead stroke. I want to be able to swim like I used to. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate so I was only able to go once. It is wonderful knowing that I can go to the pool anytime I want.
