Monthly Weigh In – July

This month 138.8 lbs. exactly one pound less. I didn’t expect this number, if anything I thought I might have gained a few pounds. I take it with a grain of salt because its just a pound, it could be the time of day I weighed myself. I got out of the habit of doing 2 miles on the bike daily but I have been tracking my meals on “My Fitness Pal.” The problem is we’ve been eating out a lot, and then my diet goes straight to hell. One night its Mezah, (which I love) and the next night, my birthday, we went to a local bar/grill, JJ’s Grille. We went there because I had so many phone calls for my birthday and Portaled with our granddaughter that it was late by the time we left the house.

I was talked into nachos loaded with chili, queso, and sour cream on the side for an appetizer, (my arm really had to be twisted). Then I thought I picked healthy, broiled salmon with green beans and coleslaw. Well its bar food and it didn’t taste very good. I didn’t have a drink, that’s a plus but I did want a slice of double chocolate cake split between the two of us for dessert. I have to have birthday cake on my birthday! So you see I have no will power and I enjoy eating. Today I’m back recording my meals trying to keep to 1200 calories a day.
