Monthly Weigh In – June

Today, 143.6. The last two months have been within a pound or so I’m taking it as I’m about the same. I want to lose weight badly, yet I don’t feel I’m there yet to start counting calories and weighing my food. I know that I am addicted to sugar and don’t know how to stop.

Even when I think I’m eating healthy, there is too much sugar. Example; morning breakfast of one serving of Multigrain Cheerios with 15 blueberries plus a handful more of blueberries. The cereal has 8 grams of sugar per serving. When I’m in a hurry I have maple and brown sugar reduced sugar instant oatmeal, again with blueberries or raspberries. Lunch is 80 calorie yogurt with 5 strawberries and an apple, usually that isn’t enough so I’ll add Ritz crackers, (around 12/15) with peanut butter, (around 4 Tbls.) or a Keto bar at 150 calories, or 3 cinnamon graham crackers. Dinner doesn’t have any sugar.

When it comes to having natural sugars, which are in fruit, I’m confused. Because Weight Watchers, (which I’ve never been on) doesn’t count points for fruit at all, I thought I can have as much as I want. Then I heard that apples have too much sugar.

Then there is my love of ice cream. Going to Bruster’s, (homemade ice cream) when I have coupons for B1G1 waffle cone, and on Thursdays bring your own bananas for a B1G1 sundae.
