N. Carolina Trip #5 & #6 – Buying and Selling

On Monday we called the realtor because we decided to buy a house and property in River Bluffs. We went to pick out our lot and home plan. We decided not to pursue the lot/home closer to the river because the expense was too much. By buying my dream home in the brick neighborhood was a better choice. We could always upgrade later if we find we really like living there. I felt excited and happy about the decision. Was it perfect? No it wasn’t. It was out in the middle of nowhere, had no indoor pool and farther from our friends who live down there. We also put our land in Brunswick Forest on the market, I hope it sells quickly.

Speaking of friends, we met them for dinner at the beach. My friendship with Rick goes way back. His older sister Mary was one of my best friends in and out of high school. Their mother, (whom I called my second mother), I love to death. I did date him for a little bit when we were both single. I really like his wife very much. I first met her at Mary’s house west of Charlottesville, and immediately liked her. Now hopefully we can become good friends.

There is a long history of my friendship with Mary that is in the “Friends Background” that I have not written yet.
