I love perennials. I consider them my specialty. Perennials come back every year, they spread, and bloom all summer. They also attract pollinators and supply food for the birds. Here’s what’s still blooming .

Cone Flower

The Butterfly Bush and Roses need some grooming throughout the summer. If you cut off the spent blooms you will get more flowers. Leave the Coneflowers, Black-Eyed Susan’s and Mexican Sunflowers throughout the winter. This will provide food for the birds.
