Today I’m going to talk about things that are not a real big deal but in the scheme of things, they bother me:
- My Bad – I have to ask, “what the hell is that?” I understand what this expression means, can’t you just say “sorry, or I was wrong.” I guess it covers everything but I don’t like it.
- Handicap Stalls – It never fails, if we’re traveling, or even in stores, wherever I go, it goes without saying, that if there are four to ten stalls and one handicapped stall, someone will be in it, that doesn’t need it. I don’t have to elaborate on this, its just wrong and to please think before you enter one if there are others available.
- Being addressed as Hon, Baby, Darlin – It’s bad enough when men do it, but I don’t like it when women address other women in this way either.
- Songs Used for Advertising – I hate when songs I like are used for commercials, and they have nothing to do with what’s being sold. There are some songs that I want to hear occasionally, its like a nice surprise. I don’t want them drilled into my head so that I get tired of them. Example; “Build me up Buttercup,” I remember when it was popular, I was in middle school. It’s a fun song, a catchy tune, but I am getting sick of it and I don’t even know what the commercial is for!
