This visit with Dr. Moen was to get my first dose of Botox in my ankles or calves. We were all ready and then she asked if I had any infections lately. I currently have a UTI, (urinary tract infection) and I am being treated with Nitrofurantoin Mono-MCR 100 mg. Well that ended that. You can’t get Botox while having an infection, actually you can but she stated that it was better to be safe than sorry. I don’t remember why but I agreed and so the Botox was put off until March.
