A lady I work with came in one day with really pretty light purple hair, (she has gray hair). I asked her about it and she said it was temporary, she did it herself and told me what brand. She said it’s expensive but worth it.
I also have natural gray hair and I’ve been wanting to do this for awhile so I bought it. The brand is Overtone, it was 32 dollars. I chose Smokey purple, a light lavender. So on Saturday I applied the color on dry hair, coated every strand as per the instructions. It said to leave in for 10 to 15 minutes and rinse. I left it in for 15 minutes. I even took a before picture. Well nothing, no purple. Very disappointed.
This morning I tried again only I left it on for an hour. I can’t believe it, again no color. A waste of time and money
