Skin Tags

Let’s talk “skin tags.” I didn’t know there is an official name for them, you know, as you age, small growths, moles, red spots that appear on your neck and chest. These are very common in women and men. They are harmless and to have them removed is not covered by your insurance. Removal is considered cosmetic. This was recently pointed out to me at my last dermatologist appointment. They are so common and their removal is such a common request, that they have a price list available for you to take home and ponder.

Of course I can’t find the price list, but I had made a note of the price of the one I was interested in. This is for the removal of 5 to 9 skin tags at the cost of $150.00. I tried counting the biggest ones or most noticeable and thought that’s no too bad a deal. As I’m counting, it seems like all if a sudden they’re everywhere! Decisions, decisions……

For now I’ve decided to wait because I never found out if they come back. What’s the sense if they’re just going to come back. Even though I’ve saved a stash, (hidden envelope of money) specifically put aside for vanity projects. I still feel guilty spending that money on my appearance. The $200.00 laser treatment I received two weeks ago did absolutely nothing.
