The past few weeks I have been very busy cleaning out all of the beds. I have made real progress, all the beds are done except for my favorite main perennial, (the largest) garden. It is cleaned up and I have moved the Coneflowers and the groundcover little yellow flowers from the back to the front. P dug up the yellow Siberian Iris and moved them by the grasses in the back where there is a lot of water. The Goldenrod still has to be moved and I’m not sure where to put it. I want it towards the back of the garden because it’s tall, but I cut it down in June and it would be harder for me to get to in the back. Here are two of the large bunches of Daffodils that are finishing up. In the middle are the Coneflowers that are coming up.
Next came cutting down all of the Variegated Liriope. This is a job because I have 8 in the back deck bed and 9 in the front foundation bed. Around the mailbox is plain green Liriope that were here when we moved in and I have P just mow them down.
