They Say it’s your Birthday – Dieting with MS cont.

Yup, it’s my birthday, 63 years old. I made an appointment on August 6 to see if I would be a good candidate for using lasers on my face. It’s called laser resurfacing. If it will make a difference, I’m going for it. My skin is so damaged from years and years of sunbathing and not using any sunblock. It was the 70’s and we used baby oil and baked for hours. That’s why I find it amazing that I’ve heard a reason for MS could be not enough Vitamin D. I’m not interested in any Botox, Juvederm, or any fillers, they scare me and besides they are temporary. I don’t have the money to keep going back for more. I wouldn’t mind a thread lift, my neck is horrible. Oh well.

My husband made reservations for dinner tonight but tropical storm Elsa us coming through and I’d rather not go out in the pouring rain. Besides, there is no love or affection there so again, what’s the point??? My daughter in law texted me this morning and I asked if my son’s fingers were sprained. We’re going to face time later. I’ll be able to see my kids and grandkids so I’ happy for that!

I’m also excited that my cousin C, (#2), her husband and daughter are coming to spend the night tomorrow on their way to SC to vacation with their kids and grandkids. This is my cousin who is a saint, let us stay there last time we were in NY, and is more like a sister to me than my own sister. I have some work to do in a little while to be ready when they come.

Another month has gone by since I weighed myself and unbelievable, it showed I was down by 1 POUND! I strictly followed my 1200 daily calories too. Very discouraging.
