New flowers seem to be blooming every week. I first saw the green spiky flower, which when I googled it, was Dianthus barbarous, “Green Ball.” Today I looked and there was a pink flower and when I got closer it was the Dianthus, “Sweet William.” The pink flowers were coming out of the green spikes so I’m not sure if they are two different types of Dianthus, or just the “Sweet William.” I’m happy to say that they are perennial’s. I will keep an eye on them to see if they all turn pink. I’ll keep you posted.
