  • Mandala Class

This week I took another class at The Cultural Art Center at Glen Allen, “Mandala Drawing.” We were given a rock that was painted a flat black, and a tool set and acrylic paints. It was simply creating a pattern, repeating in a specific color combination and adding embellishments. I will continue to make them…

  • Mixed Media

A few weeks ago I took another Mixed Media class at the garden. It was a 3 hour class and I wasn’t that impressed with what we did, (although I did screw up). It could have been because the time constraints of the class that the project was easy, ( again I screwed up). Here…

  • Some Artwork

In February I took a Mixed Media class at The Cultural Arts Center of Glen Allen. I loved the class and am proud of the results below: A few weeks ago I took zoom painting class sponsored by AARP. I have never painted before and again I’m proud of how it turned out

  • Still Trying

I am still trying to download my pictures off of my iphone into my laptop. The same problem persists. I’ve talked to people who know about these things and have tried going into my settings and turning off the cloud under photos, which by the way, wasn’t on. We bought a new tv in Best…

  • Updating Kitchen Hardware

My kitchen has white cabinets with bright brass hardware. When we first moved in I thought I had to update the hardware and get all new. Well 12/13 years later, I still haven’t done that, (I guess it didn’t bother me all that much). Fast forward to 2022. Gold is all the rage in hardware…

  • Craft Fairs

I was looking for a craft fair, hopefully a local church fair to set up at. The nearby Catholic church was having theirs, which is what I wanted, until I learned the fee was $50.00 and it would be outside. Last year I was lucky that I found an Angelican Catholic church whose fee was…

  • Craft Fair

I have been making crafts for a long time now. I started a new category when I realized how much of my time it takes and how I would like to share what I make. For the past three years I have been making Christmas themed crafts and looking for a craft fair to sell…
