June is the month for Blueberries and this year I have a great crop. I have three bushes that I keep on the deck year round. One of the bushes started losing leaves so I googled that, thinking it was some kind of parasite, but the almighty Google said that they needed food. Usually I do feed them in the spring, but like I said, we’ve been running late. I’ve been out picking the berries twice and there are still more to come. I am sharing with some of the birds and a squirrel I caught having quite the feast. If I’m around I’ll chase them away, (nicely)
Speaking of Blueberries, I’m noticing there are no deals in the grocery stores. When we lived in NY, every June they had great specials on them. Oh Well
