Politically Challenging Times

Right now I am worried about everything that is happening politically throughout the world. Russia has been amassing troops around the border of Ukraine. Putin seems to be playing a guessing game, which leads the rest of the world wondering if he will invade Ukraine, or as he says, that he doesn’t plan on invading. Actions speak louder than words and his actions seem to defy his voice. We are sending troops over to fight with NATO if needed. We got out of one war, Afghanistan, and now were poised to get in another. I whole heartedly disagree with this move. I have always wondered why we have to be the policemen of the world, the moral outrage, we as Americans, need to change societies, to bring them up to our level.

Our level of what? Society in America has enough problems and we always have. With the proliferation of lies and hate spewing all over our country, the Republican party being taken over by a demigod. The Democratic party searching for a direction and veering way off course. Immigration is out of control, the cities throughout the United States are experiencing more and more violence, policemen have targets on their backs, and private militias are recruiting more of our veterans than ever.

It feels that we are living in two separate countries. One where the mainstream media is doubted, and then the internet and Fox News, which is spreading lies. No one knows what or who to believe. There are COVID regulations and violence on airplanes over wearing masks. The border between the USA and Canada has been shut down because of truckers not wanting to wear masks to cross the border. This too has been made into a political situation by far right extremists setting up reasons to get these truckers on their side. Pillowman idiot, Mike Lindell is trying to send free pillows to the truckers and recruit them into his far right agenda.

So much hate, so much decisiveness, so much anger. What to do?
