Rock ‘n Roll Memorabilia

I don’t think I mentioned this in my Music Background but I collect rock ‘n roll memorabilia, specifically The Beatles. I have a few Led Zeppelin pieces and a couple of photos of Robert Plant and a great photo of Slash that I took, (you really can’t call that a collection) so I’ll change it to I collect Beatles memorabilia. I have my own room/office/craft room that is covered floor to ceiling with items in my collection. I have boxes put away holding print articles and shelves throughout, some glass covered containing collectibles.

Some times I’ll browse, Ebay, Craig’s list, Facebook, Poshmark, and the Nextdoor app to see if there’s anything good for sale that I have to have. The other day in the Nextdoor app someone was selling the 1000th issue (hologram) of Rolling Stone. It is not old, dated May/June 2006 in excellent condition for 15 dolllars. I didn’t hesitate or bicker because I felt it was fair and it wasn’t far from where I live. It does go along with the rock’n’ roll stuff because it covers alot.

I was always a fan of Rolling Stone magazine from the 70’s and I have every issue with any or all Beatles on the cover, including the deaths of John and George. I didn’t always agree with their reviews but overall it kept me up to date on the music I loved and introduced me to new artists and music.
