My kitchen has white cabinets with bright brass hardware. When we first moved in I thought I had to update the hardware and get all new. Well 12/13 years later, I still haven’t done that, (I guess it didn’t bother me all that much). Fast forward to 2022. Gold is all the rage in hardware for kitchen and bathrooms. It is not for bright shiny brass, the trend is for brushed gold, (very sophisticated; said with a sense of humor))
Now was my time to change. I bought a can of Rustoleum brushed gold spray paint, good for metal. I unscrewed all of the handles and knobs and washed them. P saw me starting this and had to intercede. He used pegboard to attach them so I can lift up and move around easily. It worked great, (see below). I am very happy with the results and I saved a lot of money!
