Last week our country narrowly missed a shut down because of 9 rogue senators. The Speaker of the House, Kevin McCarthy, worked with the Democrats and most Republicans to pass a resolution for 45 days. This incensed Senator Goetz, (rogue from Florida) and the following day he made a call to remove McCarthy as Speaker of the House. To my surprise this did happpen! Why, you ask, because the Democrats joined the rogue Republican Senators and voted him out!!!!!
Big giant mistake. What is wrong with these people. They say McCarthy can’t be trusted, (really, none of them can) They had a deal and he reneged. True, but he had to to become the Speaker, a deal he made that ended up biting him in the ass. So now there is no Speaker of the House, so nothing gets done, AND they all went home until next week to deal with it then.
Oh brother, now the Democrats are in a much worse position. Two candidates entered the race to be Speaker: Jim Jordan from Ohio and House Majority Leader Steve Scalise. Both are hard line Trump endorsing Republicans that will not give an inch into working to achieve anything they don’t want and again, the government will be at a standstill. Then Trump states that soooo many people have asked him to step in and be speaker, and he will of course, (even though he legally can’t!) So Democrats, you are also getting bit in the ass for your actions!
I’m done for now, but you know there is sooooooo much more going on. Powerful congressman from New Jersey and his wife have been indicted for helping Egyptian businessmen and in return getting a new Mercedes Benz and a ton of money and solid gold bars. Our president, Joe Biden is too damn old to run. He back pedaled on continuing the wall: Since September of ’22 till now over 2 million illegal men, women and children have entered the United States. That is just here, don’t even get me started on whats going on around the world.
