Diet. what diet? I’m still not on track. Today was my monthly weigh in and I am 141.2, so I’m up 3 lbs. again. It’s to be expected. My husband keeps bringing home these delicious treats and I keep eating them. We also went for ice cream the other night and I had a waffle cone with raspberry chocolate truffle ice cream. Ain’t going to lose weight like that!
I saw on TV an interview with a doctor who was talking about how as women age, they lose collagen and that is why your skin loses luster and starts to sag. They also talked about how your hormones decrease and it is harder to lose weight. I ordered the book, can’t remember the title and it hasn’t come, (its been 2 weeks) so I need to look into that. Anyway I had read that Jennifer Anniston takes collagen supplements, (she is also a paid spokesperson). It made sense to me so I ordered Vital Proteins Original Collagen Peptides dietary supplement. It is unflavored and you can mix it in water, shakes, smoothies, coffee or whatever.
I’ve been putting a scoop in my coffee 3x a day for the past 3 days. Hopefully I will see some improvement in my skin or energy or both. I’ll keep you posted.
On the road again, tomorrow we are going back down to Wilmington, NC to look at some houses. I’ve been in touch with a realtor and have set up some new communities to look at. Again, I’ll keep you posted.
On a totally different subject; today is my grandson’s 17th birthday. I had some shirts he wanted and a gift card sent to him. He’s not big on thank you’s and it pisses me off. My daughter is in NY to celebrate with him., (where she gets the money to keep flying up is beyond me)
