I have been watching game shows on and off throughout my lifetime. Sometimes because there is nothing else on TV, and other times, like Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, because I simply enjoy them. One thing they all have in common is the fact that I have never seen anyone in a wheelchair participating. I wonder why that is. You don’t need to walk to know the random answers to some of the game shows, You can still spin, guess prices, and answer multiple choice questions in a wheelchair.
Because of the ADA guidelines, all employers must make accommodations to enable handicapped persons who qualify for the job become employed. As a contestant on a game show, I realize your not an employee, but I would think, in this day and age, some accommodations could be used for all to participate. I can’t be the only person to think of this. Is this considered discrimination based on having a disability?
Just saying
