Out of fairness I started watching the Republicans bid for another 4 years of President Trump. I listened to Nikki Haley. a few that I didn’t know and I stopped watching when Donald Trump Jr. spoke. I did listen for 5 whole minutes and I heard lies and that is when I turned it off. This morning the news was showing excerpts which I also watched. Then I went to the trusty website https://www.politifact.com/ and checked fact vs. fiction on all that was said. I will tune in again tonight. I look forward to hearing Melania Trump as she seems to genuinely project positivity.
I also did this with the Democratic National Convention, there were no outright lies, but there were misleading stories.
