This is my favorite time of year, that’s why I got married in October. I love the cooler temperatures, I’m able to work outside for hours and I am always in awe of the beautiful landscape as the seasons change. It is hard to describe the joy that I get seeing the beautiful colors of the trees.. The feeling I get inside myself, the great appreciation and beauty of nature. Nothing like it.
For our anniversary, 17 years, holy shit, I can’t believe it! Pete suggested taking a ride West to Charlottesville. Wow, that was different. We took all the back roads there, (which I love). We were going to go eat and stop at some antique malls. Well it seemed most of them were closed on Sunday. Oh well, we did hit one and ate out and stopped where we wanted and took pictures of the beautiful trees and even found fields of flowers. We turned around because there was so many I thought maybe it was a flower farm and I could buy some.. It wasn’t. It was a very upscale neighborhood where some residents planted acres of wildflowers.
The title of this post is a lyric from Led Zeppelin’s, “Ramble On,” in case you didn’t get that.
